Stephanny Perea- Perez PsyD.
I’m a licensed psychologist (PSY34490) based in San Diego, CA, and the owner of a private practice offering both in-person and virtual therapy sessions. I work with the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities and offer bilingual services for Spanish speakers. My specialization lies in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, disordered eating, body image issues, and low self-esteem. I also work with and help individuals improve romantic relationship dynamics, including recovering from infidelity. Other forms of relationship dynamics include adult-child and parent relationships, family relationships and unstable friend relationships.
I believe that each of us has the capacity to learn deeply about ourselves and use that knowledge to foster healing and growth. The more we understand who we are, the more effectively we can navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful transformation. My approach is centered on the powerful connection between the mind and body, as both are integral to creating balance and wholeness in our lives.
By exploring both mental and physical experiences, I help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves, which allows them to heal from within and build resilience. This holistic approach not only promotes emotional well-being but also supports long-lasting, positive change. Through self-awareness and integration, we work together to create harmony, empowering you to live a more fulfilled and authentic life.
